- Hard water variants have an acidifying effect on the water so
plant nutrients remain completely accessible
- Hard water variants reduce bicarbonate levels to avoid their
build-up in the compost
- Soft water variants contain both calcium and magnesium so
plants receive a complete package of nutrients
- A no-stain dye is added to aid identification of solution
- Highly soluble so avoids clogging of irrigation systems
