Scotts lead the way with new Levington Proffessional Range
Nearly 40 years after its revolutionary introduction Levington,
the UK's leading growing media brand/ has reached another
landmark. From now on every Levington formulation will
contain up to 40% recycled and co-product ingredient,
instead of peat as standard - helping growers and customer
targets for peat reduction.
Re-branded Levington Pro, the new range is manufactured
from a blend of non-SSSI (Sites of Special Scientific Interest)
peat and pine bark (a by-product of the forestry industry).
The development of Levington Pro has taken some 3 years,
with fundamental product testing at Scotts Levington
Research Station/combined with a comprehensive
programme of field testing throughout the UK. Hundreds of
crop types and every conceivable growing regime have been
included in the research and results have been uniformly
excellent.

| Levington Pot & Bedding Composts |
The industry standard compost for potting and growing-on general bedding and pot plants. Peat based, standard pH for all bedding and pot plant production systems, trays, hanging baskets and larger containers.
 Pot and Bedding - M2
A medium compost for pots up to 12cm. For use on the floor, on flood benches, open benches using capillary matting, drips or hand watering. Suitable for all types of bedding and pot plants.
Medium conductivity - 340 - 420 μs
Standard pH -5.3 - 5.7
 Pot and Bedding - High Nutrient - M3
A medium compost for pots up to 12 cm. For use on the floor, on flood benches, open benches using capillary matting, drips or hand watering. Suitable for bedding and pot plants that require a high nutrient input. Not suitable for use with controlled release fertilizer.

Specialist and general purpose peat-based composts for all plant raising requirements. No added ammoniacal nitrogen has been used to ensure maximum germination and speed of establishment.
Seed and Modular - F2
A fine compost for seed sowing and direct rooting of cuttings in modules, trays, or small pots. For PU 3-6 to PU 8-8 cell trays and pots up to 7cm diameter.

Seed and Modularplus sand - F2+S

Specially designed to meet growers needs. Peat based with unique trace element package that ensures freedom from deficiencies. Carefully screened and blended sphagnum peats provide optimum Air-Filled Porosity for all uses.
Coarse Potting - C2
A coarse compost for pots up to 14 cm. For use on flood beches, open benches, drips or hand watering. Suitable for pot plants and general potting on for plants that need a more open compost. Useful for interior landscape containers.

General Pot Plant - PP
A well structured compost made from a blend of young and old peats with particles up to 15mm. Suitable for pot plants and general potting on in pots up to 14cm. Ideal for direct sticking chrysanthemums.

General Container Nursery Stock - CNSG
For use as a liner, general or nursery stock compost, perennials, containers and stock plants growing in 7 cm up to 2 litre pots. Suitable for all types of nursery stock except ericaceous.
Contains particles up to 15mm.

Ericaceouse Container Nursery Stock - CNSE
All acid loving plants grown as nursery stock or stock plants growing in 7 cm up to 2 litre pots. Suitable for all types of ericaceous nursery stock.

Container Nursery Stock Coarse - CNSA
