This expanded Volcanic rock has many horticultural uses for example seed raising, propagation and as a additive for composts and soils to improve aeration and drainage. It is inert, sterile, and has a neutral pH.
Available in four grades and in 100 litre bags.

Vermiculite

This ultra light weight micaceous material is ideal for seed rising and propagation, cuttings and potting. It is inorganic, inert, sterile and has a high water holding capacity and a high cation exchange i.e. buffering capacity.
Available in 80 litre bags.

Hydroleca

This is the perfect medium for hydroponics and benching, crocking and drainage.
Hydroleca absorbs water up to 40% of its own weight, is non toxic and unaffected by frost, making it ideal as a decorative surface covering for pot plants.
Available in 50 litre bags.

SHL Bark
SHL offer a quality bark range in three grades to the produced from pine bark with fine grade and nursery grade composted to ensure consistent quality.
