Government restrictions on shops and retail outlets will lift on Monday 15th June.
We will therefore re-open the gates at both our branches, with the following procedures in place:
Our gates will be open Monday to Friday, 7.30am til 1pm.
Trade account customers can place orders by telephone or email for afternoon collection slots.
Customers must park in the front yard and report to the counter.
Maximum of 4 customers in the shop at any one time.
We are only accepting card payments at this time.
Our counters will have protective screening in place.
We will no longer have minimum collection order values.
Due to current restrictions we are only offering a very limited timber cutting service. Lead times may apply.
We will continue to review our procedures on a weekly basis and let you know if anything changes.
Thank you again for your patience and co-operation while we adjust to re-opening in the safest way possible.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!
UPDATE 6TH MAY 2020
NEW MINIMUM ORDER RESTRICTIONS NOW IN PLACE
We only have a limited number of delivery and collection slots available each week.

For the last three weeks we’ve been providing a restricted collection/delivery service for trade account customers who need materials for essential work.
While our main priority is protecting the health and safety of staff and customers, we know that lots of our customers require building materials but do not have a trade account.
Therefore, from Monday 4th May we’ll be operating as follows:
Our new opening hours will be 7.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
We can take orders and payment for goods over the phone.
Our Hoole branch number is 01772 613444 and our Chorley branch number is 01257 444111. Alternatively you can email your request to firstname.lastname@example.org
Once you have placed your order you’ll be given a collection date/time.
You will only be given access to the yard at your allotted date/time.
Once placed, orders cannot be altered or added to.
Only one customer and one vehicle per collection slot.
Your order will be ready and loaded onto your vehicle with our forklift. Customers must stay in their vehicle. If goods have to be loaded by hand we will NOT be able to help load.
Minimum order and delivery charges (if applicable) may apply.
PLEASE NOTE we’re currently inundated with enquiries and order requests. Due to limited staffing it may take a little longer than normal for you to get a response. Our phone lines are also very busy so if you’re struggling to get through please email email@example.com. We appreciate your patience and support in making our working environment as safe as possible.

UPDATE 1ST APRIL 2020
As I am sure you are aware we recently made the difficult decision to temporarily close to protect staff and customers and to try and help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.
We believe the information from the government has been confusing to say the least and whilst the reasons we closed remain our priority we also realize that as self employed contractors you need to continue working on your construction projects.
We have had a lot of requests to supply materials and have been discussing ways that we may be able to try and supply our customers on a restricted basis with new stricter safety procedures in place.
We are therefore trialling a limited delivery and collection service for TRADE CUSTOMERS ONLY
Our gates will remain closed and orders must be emailed for approval
30 Minute Collection time slots will be available, between 10am and 3pm
Only one customer and one vehicle for each slot
Minimum order value £200 and Full Pack quantities may apply

Collection note will be emailed on confirmation of order. No paperwork will be given on collection
Due to the above collection procedures and our own internal procedures we may not be able to accept orders for certain items.
Limited amount of local deliveries only. Minimum order £300
Orders must be emailed and approved
Minimum 24 hours notice required
Full pack quantities on certain products
We will only deliver to sites where the government safe working procedures are being followed. Please keep the safe distance from our driver. We will not deliver to any work being carried out on a domestic property where the homeowner is still residing
If you would like to book a delivery or collection slot please email your requirements to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will confirm if we are able to fulfil your requirements.
Only orders from account customers whose payments are up to date and within their credit limit will be considered.
Please note we only have limited capacity and this time, so please plan ahead for any requirements.
Should we find that we cannot operate this system in a safe manner or the government policy changes we will stop offering the service, but we felt it was important to try and help our trade customers during this difficult time.
